The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and leadership skills, with a background in managing audits and compliance with accounting standards like IFRS/GAAP. The role requires 5–7 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position. Candidates must be available to join immediately.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, compliance, and audits.
• Open to male and female candidates currently based in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and general ledger.
• Lead month-end and year-end closings with timely reconciliations and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control policies.
• Oversee internal and external audits, preparing schedules and addressing findings.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and general ledger
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closings with timely reconciliations and reporting
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control policies
• Oversee internal and external audits, preparing schedules and addressing findings
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial resources
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports (MIS)
• Guide, mentor, and develop accounting staff for high performance
• Review and approve inventory‑related entries, cost adjustments, and stock provisions
• Provide financial analysis to support decision‑making and strategic initiatives

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), taxation, and audit processes
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
