Job description

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales across the region through channel partners.

Client Details

Our client is a major player in the two-wheeler and automotive components industry, known for manufacturing motorcycles, scooters, and three-wheelers widely used across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Description

  1. Achieve monthly targets for retail, collection, and shipments.
  2. Assess seasonal trends, stocking requirements, and recommend shipment plans.
  3. Recommend organizational structure to distributors by assessing needs and identifying gaps.
  4. Identify network gaps and recommend towns requiring network actions.
  5. Establish and drive company sales processes and values.
  6. Provide timely communication to management on local regulations, distributor profitability, market dynamics (price, competition, products/network, economy), product inadequacies, and quality issues.
  7. Plan sales promotion activities, market activation, and new product launches to meet business objectives aligned with overall brand strategy.
  8. Conduct product and sales process training for distributor/dealer sales teams.
  9. Collaborate with distributors and stakeholders for 'concept selling' and strategic programs (e.g., retail finance, exchange, institutional buyers, bankers).
  10. Understand customer insights through non-consideration, leakage analysis, NPS, and provide feedback for action development.

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
  • Previous experience in the two-wheeler or automotive industry.
  • Channel sales experience with a principal company is essential.
  • Ability to work independently.
