Overview
The CEO Office – Strategy role acts as a strategic partner to the CEO, supporting enterprise-level decision-making, long-term planning, and execution of high‑impact initiatives. The role bridges strategy and execution, working closely with business heads to drive performance, transformation, and alignment with the organization’s vision and priorities.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Support the CEO in developing and refining corporate strategy, multi‑year business plans, and annual operating plans.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry analysis to identify growth opportunities, risks, and strategic options.
- Translate high‑level strategy into clear initiatives, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
CEO Office & Governance Support
- Prepare high‑quality presentations, briefing notes, and dashboards for CEO, Board, and Executive Committee meetings.
- Track strategic priorities and key CEO‑led initiatives, ensuring timely execution and follow‑through.
- Support governance processes, including board papers, management reviews, and strategic off‑sites.
Performance Management & Analytics
- Monitor business performance across units using KPIs, financial metrics, and operational data.
- Identify performance gaps, root causes, and improvement levers in collaboration with functional leaders.
- Support OKR / KPI frameworks and enterprise performance reviews.
Cross‑Functional Execution
- Act as a central coordination point for cross‑functional strategic projects and transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with Finance, HR, Operations, Legal, and Business Heads to align execution with strategy.
- Drive structured problem‑solving and decision‑making on complex, ambiguous topics.
Special Projects & Transformation
- Lead or support CEO‑sponsored special projects (e.g., M&A support, new business launches, restructuring, digital transformation).
- Develop business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses for strategic investments.
- Support change management and communication for major initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 5–10+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate planning, CEO office, or similar roles.
- Prior experience in top-tier or reputable management consulting firms (e.g., strategy, transformation, or performance improvement roles) is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of corporate strategy, financial analysis, and business performance management.
- Experience working with senior executives and handling confidential information.
