Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cargo handling, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of cargo handling and transportation regulations and best practices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery as needed.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of cargo.
• Ensure proper securing and storage of cargo.
• Monitor and track inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inspections of cargo and equipment.
• Collaborate with logistics team for cargo deliveries.
• Train and supervise cargo handling personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo movements.

Job description

Position: Cargo Supervisor

Salary: 10200 AED

Rotation: 60/30

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of cargo from trucks, ships and other modes of transportation
• Ensure that all cargo is properly secured and stored to prevent damage during transportation
• Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for ongoing operations
• Conduct regular inspections of cargo and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with logistics team to plan and schedule cargo deliveries to meet project timelines
• Communicate with clients and vendors to coordinate the movement of cargo and resolve any issues that may arise
• Train and supervise cargo handling personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Maintain accurate records of all cargo movements and prepare reports as needed
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as local and international regulations related to cargo handling and transportation

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cargo handling preferably in the oil and gas industry
