Job Summary
The candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality support to the Chairman, who will require assistance with daily living activities. This role involves promoting independence, ensuring comfort and safety, and fostering a positive and respectful relationship with the Chairman and his family.
Major Responsibilities
- Support the Chairman with daily personal hygiene needs, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, and maintaining general cleanliness and comfort.
Health and Wellness Support
- Follow prescribed healthcare plans as directed by medical professionals.
- This may include assisting with light exercise routines, monitoring vital signs, and administering or reminding the Chairman to take prescribed medications.
Emotional and Social Support
- Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and encouragement to help the Chairman stay engaged, confident, and positive in his daily routines.
Mobility Assistance
- Help the Chairman to safely move around his environment, including transferring in and out of bed, chairs, and wheelchairs, and providing support during other physical activities.
Appointments
- Accompany the Chairman to medical appointments, errands, or recreational outings, ensuring punctuality and safety during transport.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proactive and Dependable: Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and sound judgment in managing responsibilities and responding to client needs.
- Trustworthy and Ethical: Maintains confidentiality, professionalism, and respect for client privacy at all times.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to cleanliness, order, and adherence to care routines and healthcare instructions.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate with empathy, clarity, and patience when interacting with the client, client's family, or the medical staff.
- Calm and Patient Demeanour: Handles challenging situations or emotional stress with composure and compassion.
- Experience and Training: Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant, Caregiver, or similar role preferred. Current CPR and First Aid certification strongly recommended.
- Professional and Friendly Attitude: Positive outlook and respectful approach in all interactions.
- Flexible Availability: Willingness to work varied hours.
- Language Skills: Arabic-speaking ability will be considered an added advantage.
- Required to live in accommodation.
