Job summary

The successful candidate will perform diagnostic cardiovascular procedures, assist physicians, and provide exceptional patient care. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting, including pediatric cases.
• Valid healthcare professional license/registration in the UAE (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic procedures.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our client in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This role is based within one of the UAE's largest government-affiliated healthcare networks, renowned for delivering world-class medical services and operating state-of-the-art facilities across the Emirate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiovascular procedures, operating specialized equipment, and assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Candidates with proven experience handling Pediatric patients will be highly preferred.

This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of medical practice. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Performing non-invasive and/or invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures as per physician’s orders, including procedures for pediatric patients.
2. Operating and maintaining specialized cardiovascular equipment to ensure accurate test results.
3. Preparing patients for procedures by explaining processes, obtaining medical history, and positioning them appropriately.
4. Monitoring patient vital signs and comfort during procedures, responding promptly to any complications.
5. Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures when required.
6. Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and test reports.
7. Adhering to infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols at all times.
8. Keeping up to date with advancements in cardiovascular technology and best practices.

Requirements to be considered include:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.
2. Valid healthcare professional license/registration in the UAE (or eligibility to obtain one).
