Your New Role

We are currently searching for a Business Coordinator to provide a full range of business operational support for CNN Digital in this position there will be an element of general office support but the core of the role will be processing petty cash and bank invoices for freelancers and contractors and managing budgets of outside vendors to be tracked against sales sponsorship budgets.

The Business Coordinator will also be responsible for employee record keeping managing medical insurance management of mobile phones management of SAICO/CIGNA membership numbers UAE Visa & Emirates ID cards expiry dates and more. Youll be a facilitator/trainer for new procedures and internal systems and will frequently liaise with Accounting Finance Legal Corporate Travel and Human Resources.

Your Role Accountabilities
  • Manage freelance budget on behalf of the business to ensure spending is tracked within budget. Includes approving invoices with complex coding with multiple project codes that are billed against sales budgets across various international locations.
  • Set up vendor relationships and manage requirements for them to determine whether a payment requires U.S. tax documentation or foreign vendor tax.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly Accounting Packages via Kovax. Handles currency exchange and all cash transactions with the bank ensure petty cash is accounted for.
  • Responsible for office management and overseeing time off and tracking UAE public holidays. Primary point of contact with government sponsor (Media City.
  • Expert on procedures and internal systems (MyHR Concur TPAS Kofax). On boards new Ensure staff is compliant with company policy and procedure as well as local labour laws.
  • Oversee all expense reports in Concur for client group ensuring appropriate currencies are used & all costs are justified and in compliance with company policies in various locations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience within business support roles with experience of dealing with office finances
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Innovative mindset able to proactively propose new ideas while considering the pros and cons
  • Able to work independently without supervision without direction or constant review on most issues
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to use sound judgment on issues impacting business considering business factors and complying with company policy
  • Excellent communication skills with client partners and managers so they understand company policy and procedures. Able to articulate good and bad news
  • Ability to travel to UAE US and UK when required
  • Bilingual in English and Arabic
