Job Description

The main purpose of the job is to board vessel and provide services required by Vessel Master, crews and passengers. Duties include checking Masters’ requirements, collecting documents for immigration formalities, giving vessel immigration clearance on arrival and departure, meeting and greeting joining crew members at the airport, clearing both airport and seaport immigration to enable new crew members to join their vessel, and clearing departing crews before sending to the airport. The role contributes towards providing effective and efficient service to Vessel Master, crews and passengers thus increasing profitability of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Board vessel upon arrival following prior boarding check with PIC for lined up service list.
  2. Call/SMS respective PIC/Radio Room with arrival and sailing condition report upon receipt from Master.
  3. Check with Master for any additional requirements; inform and take PIC approval before delivering additional services.
  4. Handle seaport and airport immigration work, issues and concerns for vessel, crews and passengers.
  5. Communicate and coordinate with operations coordinators and boarding representative supervisor.
  6. Assist with crew transportation, if time permits.
