Job description

• Prepare and serve a wide range of German and international beverages with precision and flair including draught beer schnapps cocktails and non-alcoholic options.

• Bring Oktoberfest-style energy to the bar from ceremonial keg tapping to guest engagement with toasts like Prost!

• Provide beer education to guests guiding them on flavor profiles regional specialties and traditional pairings.

• Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked bar area following hygiene and HACCP guidelines.

• Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to create seasonal drinks and themed promotions.

• Engage with guests in both German and English delivering warm conversational service with cultural authenticity.

• Support festive events beer-tasting nights and high-volume service during special occasions.

• Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible service of alcohol at all times.

• Handle cash POS transactions and inventory with accuracy and accountability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience ideally in a beer garden beer hall or high-volume hospitality outlet.

• Strong knowledge of German beer styles (Pils Weissbier Dunkel Bock etc.) and traditional spirits.

• Experience in Oktoberfest-style service or Bavarian cultural settings is a strong advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal skills storytelling ability and a passion for guest experience.

• Bartending certification or mixology training preferred.
