Job summary

A leading bank in the UAE is seeking a Sales Manager for their mortgage division. The successful candidate will manage a sales team, ensuring targets are met while building strong relationships with customers and internal departments. This role includes conducting promotional events and providing detailed performance reports to management. Ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of sales experience in mortgages and a university degree. The position offers full-time hours in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

Job description
  • To Sell Core products in assigned business territory.
  • Build / Maintain Effective Business Relationship with customers.
Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • To manage the team assigned to him where in the monthly sales is met or exceeded.
  • Ensure effective sales progress by developing and maintaining reporting/tracking of systems, anti-attrition processes and techniques, etc.
  • Managing a team including addressing their training needs to the appropriate resource, along with ensuring a smooth process for all.
  • To build and maintain effective business relationship with all internal departments and branches.
  • To assist in conducting Promotional Activities, meetings and Road Shows in the assigned showrooms to Achieve or Exceed Budgeted Sales Volumes.
  • To ensure that the documentation provided by the team is complete and error-free for all approved applications sourced from such assigned team.
  • To ensure that team is doing regular follow up for document discrepancies, which have been approved as Deferrals.
  • To provide Monthly MIS on performance to Manager DSU Team of the assigned Area.
  • To provide Weekly MIS on all related Sales/Services Updates to Manager DSU team as to ensure regular tracking of Errors/Deferrals/etc.
  • Provide regular customer and market feedback to Manager DSU team to improve Product Offering and Business Acquisition.
  • To capitalize on-cross selling opportunities.
  • To perform functions of Manager DSU Team in his absence, including presentations to prospective clients for special packages, etc.
  • To recommend Loans proposed from the team, and which are considered good credit risk and as per Bank Policy.
  • Requires good convincing and Negotiating Skills according to the complexity of business.
  • Continuous suggestions on changes and ways of improving FAB Products.
  • To build and maintain effective business relationship with all internal departments and branches.
  • Manage Business Complexity in view of competition.
  • Identify any cross selling opportunity for Other Business Divisions of the Bank.
  • Motivate the Team Assigned by awarding the High Performers and guiding the others as to improve their performance, and also reporting the same to the manager DSU team.
Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies:

  • University Degree or Equivalent Qualification
  • About 3-5 years’ sales manager experience in selling mortgage product and managing teams. Experience in similar job area is an added advantage.

Desirable to have a sales diploma or certification.
