Job Description:

The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) College of Business & Economics (CBE) invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate/Professor in marketing with a specific focus on AI and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality undergraduate instruction and supporting the growth and development of CBEs marketing program.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in marketing and related disciplines, with a strong emphasis on interactive and practice-based learning. The role includes contributing to the delivery of the Marketing program, which offers a diverse range of courses such as AI and digital marketing, marketing analytics, fashion marketing, and sustainable marketing. Candidates with expertise and practical experience in these areas are preferred. The successful candidate will actively engage with students, foster marketing innovation and strategic thinking, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the program. Strong communication skills and a collegial approach are essential for this role.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in the applicable field. The ability to teach undergraduate courses is a must. Industrial and professional experience is a plus.

Experience/Skills

They should demonstrate a proven track record of peer-reviewed journal publications or clear evidence of the potential to publish in leading journals if at an early stage of completion of the PhDs. The ability to secure research funding or develop funded research initiatives is essential. Excellence in teaching is required, with a focus on innovative pedagogy and the ability to teach a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate courses. Candidates should demonstrate collegiality and a strong commitment to contributing to the growth of the institution and its broader community. Proficiency in English, the language of instruction and communication, is mandatory.
