Job Title: Assistant Manager Regulatory Reporting

Reports to: AVP - Regulatory Reporting

Job Purpose

The role and manages regulatory and financial reporting processes by ensuring accuracy, compliance, timely delivery, and providing critical financial insights to regulatory authorities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the UAE Central Bank and other regulators, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and maintaining required ratios and norms.
  • Oversee the preparation and circulation of daily financial positions, including the balance sheet, income statement, customer deposit analysis, and profit suspension reconciliation.
  • Manage the preparation of statistical surveys and ad hoc information requests, including those from government and regulatory entities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards (IFRS and UAE CB guidelines) and prepare disclosures for the Group's consolidated financial statements.
  • Analyze and validate data used in financial statements and regulatory reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Drive system enhancements to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy, identify gaps in regulatory reporting, and resolve issues in collaboration with IT.
  • Respond to queries and coordinate with internal and external auditors, UAE Central Bank, and other stakeholders to address requirements and provide necessary information.
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial and regulatory reporting processes to ensure high-quality output in the shortest possible time.
  • Monitor new CIFs opened during the month, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and adequacy of economic sector classifications.

Position Requirement:

Education: Graduate in Commerce/Financial Management

Preferable to have CA /other relevant certificates in Finance Work

Experience: 4-6 years of experience in relevant field in banking sector
