We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support both marketing execution and market insights functions within our corporate Group Marketing team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, combining creative marketing coordination with analytical research capabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless collaboration between the central marketing team and business units, while also contributing to data-driven decision-making through market intelligence.

Marketing Execution & Coordination (Primary Focus):
  • Support the planning and rollout of central marketing campaigns, including media buying and vendor coordination.
  • Assist in managing marketing assets and collaterals, ensuring timely distribution and usage across channels/business.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including government bodies and media partners for approvals and partnerships.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives across business units to ensure brand consistency and alignment with group strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track campaign performance and support reporting needs.
Market Research & Insights (Secondary Focus):
  • Assist in the development of research briefs based on business unit needs and strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate with external research agencies for project execution, including cost negotiations and fieldwork oversight.
  • Analyze consumer and market data to generate actionable insights for marketing strategies.
  • Support the preparation of research reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to inform marketing planning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in marketing coordination or market research, preferably in retail or consumer-facing industries.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in designing, managing, and interpreting market research projects, with a solid grasp of methodologies and consumer insight generation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient with media planning and buying, CRM tools, and marketing analytics platforms is essential
