We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Front Office Manager to join the Traders Hotel family. The selected candidate shall be the face of the hotel with a pleasing personality to welcome, assist, and ensure guest experience are cared for.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree from an accredited university in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 03 years experience in a managerial role in an upscale hotel.
  • Good understanding of Property Management System
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Good communicator with fluency in English.
  • Proven organizational skills, able to set and meet deadlines.

What will youdo?

  • Responsible for overseeing and supervising the operations of the Front Desk, Guest Services, Bell, Door, Concierge and Night Audit
  • Ensures that all Front Office Policies and Procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensures VIP procedures are being met or exceeded daily for all Guests.
  • Coordinate the Arrival, Stay and Departure experience for all Guests.
  • To understand and promote the hotels and departmental vision.
  • Provide direction and support to Guest Relations Managers, Front Office supervisory positions and Ambassadors in their daily tasks relating to their roles.
  • Ensure that all Front Office team have the supplies needed to perform their duties.
  • Responsible for ensuring consistency in exceeding guest service expectations.
  • Energize the brand by promoting our Guest loyalty program.
  • Ensure cash handling and credit policies/procedures are followed.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism amongst Front Office colleagues.
  • Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues to find solutions.
