Job summary

A leading architectural firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman to prepare and develop architectural shop drawings. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the UAE/GCC and proven expertise in AutoCAD, along with strong knowledge of drafting standards and technical specifications. This role offers opportunities to work on large-scale projects and requires the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven expertise in AutoCAD and preparation of architectural shop drawings.
• Experience working on large-scale projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise and develop architectural shop drawings in line with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate drawing submissions.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and company standards.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare revise and develop architectural shop drawings in line with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with architects engineers and site teams to ensure accurate drawing submissions.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes regulations and company standards.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings for construction including plans elevations sections and details.
• Review design drawings and provide technical input to resolve discrepancies or conflicts.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records for easy reference and approvals.
