A UAE Private School is seeking an Arabic Speaking Occupational Therapist to support students with developmental challenges. This role involves conducting assessments and developing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and 3 years of experience in a pediatric or school setting, preferably in the UAE. Qualifications

  • 3 years pediatric/school setting experience (UAE/GCC preferred).
  • Eligibility or license with DHA / DOH / MOHAP (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct OT assessments for students referred for sensory and self-care difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals.
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group OT sessions.
  • Advise teachers on classroom adaptations and environmental modifications.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and prepare progress reports.
  • Educate parents on home-based activities and follow-up strategies.

Job Title: Arabic Speaking Occupational Therapist School Program

Location: UAE Private School / Inclusion Department — Employment Type: Full‑time (open to part‑time / revenue sharing) — Reports To: Head of Inclusion / Clinical Director

Role Purpose

Support students with developmental physical sensory and emotional challenges to participate effectively in academic and social activities in school. Deliver school-based OT interventions and collaborate with teachers and parents to improve functional independence and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct OT assessments (observation standardized tools) for students referred for fine/gross motor sensory and self-care difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals aligned with IEPs and classroom expectations.
  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group OT sessions within classroom pull‑out and resource‑room settings.
  • Advise teachers on classroom adaptations seating handwriting sensory breaks and environmental modifications.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP reviews; prepare progress reports for school and parents.
  • Educate parents on home‑based activities and follow‑up strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university.
  • 3 years pediatric/school setting experience (UAE/GCC preferred).
  • Eligibility or license with DHA / DOH / MOHAP (or willing to obtain).
  • Native or fluent Arabic with strong English communication.
  • Experience with autism ADHD learning difficulties and developmental delays is preferred.
