Job description

Primary Objective

Provide high-quality technical support to Customers Sales and Technical teams contributing to Sikas objective of achieving market leadership. Support the development rollout and maintenance of Sikas product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and product training to Sales Engineers Applicators Contractors and Consultants.
• Perform site visits and prepare clear technical reports; maintain accurate documentation of technical issues actions taken and recommendations using designated systems.
• Plan organize conduct and report on product training programs for Sales Engineers and Applicators.
• Coordinate monitor and report product field testing in alignment with Target Market Managers and Product Engineers.
• Investigate customer complaints and product claims ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct technical benchmarking on-site testing and coordinate third-party laboratory testing in collaboration with the Technical Head and Product Engineers.
• Provide on-site technical assistance application guidance and training to applicators.
• Plan coordinate and supervise product mock-ups and site sample applications.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager appropriate to the role.

Quality Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Sikas Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
• Promote and implement safe working practices at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Skills

• Proven hands-on site experience in construction projects with demonstrated ability to work in active site environments under real project conditions.
• Practical experience in the application of construction materials field such as:
  • Waterproofing and roofing systems (PVC TPO Bitumen Polyurea)
  • Building finishing systems (tile adhesives tile grouts paints)
  • Industrial flooring systems (epoxy and PU resin based cementitious)
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Computer Literate - Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint); CAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability and willingness to work on construction sites including exposure to demanding site conditions and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction / Building Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
