Sales Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire enquiry-to-order process for analytical instruments, ensuring high-quality proposals and timely delivery. Each day, you will lead the evaluation of RFQs, coordinate with factories, clients, and internal teams for technical and commercial clarifications, and prepare competitive bids in line with global and country-specific guidelines.

You will also design sample handling systems, provide technical and commercial support, and ensure smooth order execution through accurate documentation and coordination.

By leveraging your strong technical knowledge of analytical products and systems, you will contribute to improving customer satisfaction, maintaining profitability, and positioning the company as a leading global analytical solutions provider.

This role is reporting to the Sales Manager in Dubai. Main stakeholders are clients, factories, Front-End Sales (FES) teams, procurement, logistics, and the internal execution team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing RFQs for feasibility, conducting tender/bid and SCP approvals in line with SOA, country, and global guidelines
  • Coordinating with factories for offer preparation and with clients for technical clarifications to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Preparing high-quality offers and proposals within defined deadlines to support business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Designing sample handling systems and coordinating with system integration units (ABB or third-party) for technical execution
  • Completing technical queries, ensuring compliance, and supporting the technical bid evaluation process
  • Analyzing feedback from FES on technical and commercial aspects, and collaborating with managers and factories to optimize pricing and profitability
  • Validating client technical and documentation requirements upon order receipt and resolving discrepancies with FES and clients
  • Processing orders by preparing accurate documentation (preorder, FCM, CR) for smooth project handover to the execution team
  • Reviewing and confirming Order Acknowledgements from both internal Order Handling and factory Procurement Teams for technical, pricing, and delivery accuracy
  • Monitoring order delivery timelines and acting as a liaison between logistics and clients while providing ongoing technical support for the Analytical Product Line in the region

Qualification details: Qualifications:

  • You have strong technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of analytical products, systems, and process applications
  • Bring at least 7–10 years of relevant experience in handling RFQs, bids, and technical-commercial coordination for analytical solutions
  • You have proven ability to manage complex enquiries and deliver high-quality offers within tight deadlines
  • You are experienced in coordinating with multiple stakeholders including factories, clients, and sales teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Familiarity with ABB quotation tools and global business processes is nice to have
  • You demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while maintaining strong team collaboration
  • You hold a degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Fluent in English
