Position: Analyst & Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Dubai

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator / Analyst to support and enhance end-to-end supply chain operations within the pharmaceutical sector. This role will focus on logistics, demand and supply planning, purchase order management, and operational analysis. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with manufacturing sites, marketing partners, and internal supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted product availability.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain/logistics, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle, etc.).
  • Knowledge of GDP (Good Distribution Practices), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and pharmaceutical supply chain processes preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Inventory & Supply Management
  • Establish and monitor finished product inventory levels per SKU and key material inventories at manufacturing sites on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain inventory tracker to monitor shelf-life and short-dated quantities
  • Develop and track alternate vendor qualification programs with Supply Chain/QA to mitigate risks and avoid stock-outs.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing sites to align production schedules with demand forecasts.
2. Demand & S&OP Planning
  • Collaborate with marketing partners and sales teams to consolidate demand forecasts and identify forecast accuracy trends.
  • Set up systems and processes to monitor sales performance and provide variance analysis.
  • Manage and support S&OP initiatives to improve communication and accuracy between contract sales organization and manufacturing sites.
3. Logistics & Order Management
  • Manage finished goods logistics, including shipment scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
  • Create and process purchase orders with suppliers and manufacturing sites, and track production dates, shipment timelines and batch release
  • Track damaged goods and value of quantities sent for destruction
  • Follow up on order confirmations, ensuring alignment with required timelines.
  • Support invoicing activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing with finance teams.
  • Liaise with logistics partners to resolve any shipment delays or discrepancies.
4. Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare supply chain dashboards and KPI reports (OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory cover) for weekly/monthly reporting.
  • Provide root-cause analysis for variances between forecast and actual sales/supply.
  • Generate monthly reports on inventory, vendor performance, and S&OP outcomes for management review.
