Job summary

A leading aviation services company is seeking a Quality Inspector to focus on a project related to Aircraft Seating. This role involves managing project timelines, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Aviation, with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience, particularly in aircraft maintenance. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with various project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum experience of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in an aircraft/component maintenance environment.
  • Experience in aircraft seating/fabric work preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of Part 145/CAR 145/FAA 145 Regulatory requirements.
  • Internal auditor training/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Quality Inspector focal for the assigned projects.
  • Inspect parts assemblies and finished products to drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct critical non-routine visual, mechanical and functional inspections.
  • Inspect and check aircraft components for airworthiness.
  • Conduct first article inspection of parts assemblies and tooling.
  • Maintain necessary inspection logs and write inspection reports.
