Overview

As an A/V Technician you will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining audio-visual equipment for various events and presentations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless audio-visual experiences for our clients and audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Set up operate and troubleshoot audio video and lighting equipment for live events conferences and corporate presentations
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on A/V equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Manage cable installations and connections for various A/V systems
  • Operate sound mixing consoles and lighting control systems
  • Collaborate with event planners and clients to understand and meet their A/V requirements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to presenters and speakers
  • Stay updated on the latest A/V technologies and implement new solutions as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory of A/V equipment and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in A/V operations
Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in A/V technology and live event production
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various audio and video equipment
  • Strong knowledge of digital audio/video systems and presentation software
  • Excellent cable management and organization skills
  • Experience with sound mixing and lighting control
  • Associates degree in Audio/Video Technology or related field (preferred)
