Job summary

A manufacturing company in Dubai is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate 5 Axis CNC machines, preferably DMG. The ideal candidate will have an ITI in Machining or Fitting, with at least 1-2 years of CNC machining experience. Responsibilities include setting up machines, conducting inspections, and maintaining productivity and quality standards. Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of CNC Machining experience.
• Experience in 5 Axis CNC machines, preferably DMG machines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and products for defects.
• Setup CNC machines in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare simple programs for machine control.
• Maintain 100% productivity of assigned machines.
• Ensure efficient operation of the work center.
• Conduct stage inspections and maintain records.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Train and guide helpers in machine operation.

Skills

Understanding of G-codes

Ability to read Engineering drawings

Knowledge of Machinability of different metals

Knowledge of Quality systems and procedures

Conversant with cutting tools & parameters

Precision measuring instruments & gauges

General maintenance of machines

Education

ITI (Machinist / Fitter)

Basic CNC Programming

Special training in tool making
