Job Purpose & Responsibilities

The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and maintenance of academic schedules, final examination timetables, and academic planning datasets. The role supports institutional academic operations by ensuring scheduling accuracy, data integrity, and timely reporting across the academic lifecycle, and provides registration-related operational support, operating in a technical and analytical capacity to produce well-structured schedules, reports, and data outputs that support the effective operations, planning, and coordination of the Office of the Registrar.

Minimum Qualification and Education

Bachelor’s degree required (Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline). Master’s degree preferred.

Required Knowledge And Skills
  • Strong analytical and data reconcile skills with the ability to interpret complex academic scheduling and enrollment data.
  • Advanced proficiency in reporting tools, spreadsheets, dashboards, and academic planning systems.
  • High accuracy in data handling, reconciliation, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational and deadline-management skills in fixed academic cycle environments.
  • Ability to work independently within defined authority and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Solid understanding of academic calendars, scheduling principles, and higher education regulations.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in academic scheduling, institutional planning, registrar operations, or data-driven academic administration within a higher education environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in academic scheduling, exam timetabling, and enrollment-related data analysis.
  • Proven experience working with academic datasets, student information records, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting registration and enrollment operations, reporting.
Language Proficiency

Professional written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
