Job Requirements
Grade 12, a Logistics or Supply Chain Management degree, or a 4-year equivalent advanced diploma (BTECH, BCom, HCom).
5 years in the logistics industry, such as transport and/or warehousing, or a combination.
2 years’ experience in WMS and TMS systems.
Knowledge of Transport and Warehouse processes.
VBA / SQL experience is a plus.

Main Purpose of the Role
Seeking an experienced Business Support Manager with a technical background in supply chain warehousing and transport, specializing in orchestration platform software. Responsibilities include system configuration, interface integration, troubleshooting, user support, documentation, testing, team leadership, and budget management. The role involves ensuring the effective operation and continuous improvement of our supply chain systems, reporting to the General Manager for Freight Management Services, based at DSV Park, Kempton Park, Johannesburg.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a technical support team.
- Oversee support and cost management as the technical lead.
- Address and communicate system issues.
- Manage relationships with business and service providers.
- Ensure system uptime and quality of service.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design, document, and implement system changes and enhancements.
- Lead testing of new systems and updates.
- Maintain system documentation, including security, design flows, and user guides.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize system processes and interfaces.
- Provide user training on system functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and address challenges.
- Contribute to system effectiveness and user experience improvements.
- Participate in designing and setting up reports for financial and operational metrics in collaboration with Global IT.
