A leading South African university in Gqeberha seeks a General Computer Lab Coordinator responsible for managing and supporting computer laboratories. The role includes ensuring operational readiness, providing technical support, supervising student assistants, and maintaining adherence to ICT policies. Candidates should possess Grade 12 or equivalent, and an IT qualification is advantageous. Experience of two to five years in a similar role is required.

The General Computer Lab Coordinator is responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and support of student and staff computer laboratories across the University. The position ensures that computer labs remain functional, secure, and aligned with institutional ICT standards to support teaching, learning, and research. This includes overseeing daily operations, coordinating lab assistants, implementing software and hardware updates, maintaining asset registers, and ensuring a high‑quality user experience.
