People & Culture Information Systems Graduate
Dis-Chem Pharmacies' in Midrand has an opportunity available for People & Culture Information Systems Graduate to join the Head Office team on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract.
Responsible to assist in developing, testing, debugging, and deploying customised HR applications while working closely with team members in an agile environment to ensure smooth day-to-day collaboration and project delivery.
Familiarity with React, Redux, Next.js, version control (Git), database design principles.
Understanding fundamental principles of Object-Oriented Programming, creating full-stack web applications.
Provide technical support in day-to-day issues and tasks for inhouse-developed tools.
Tackle technical issues as they arise, troubleshoot and resolve any product incidents timeously.
Assist with ongoing projects with coding, debugging, and testing tasks.
Deliver high-quality code that aligns with QA standards, ensuring a robust and reliable product.
Collaborate closely with other team members to ease workload and meet deadlines.
Contribute to the development of new features and functionality in existing or new applications.
Join in on research and innovation – bringing ideas and collaborating with the team.
Assist in preparing HR System functional design documents and process flows for approval.
Assist in writing and maintaining test cases for unit tests, integration tests, and regression testing.
Help in identifying and documenting bugs or issues, and work with the team to resolve them.
Identify and suggest opportunities to improve HR processes through better use of the HRIS.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to streamline workflows and improve system utilisation.
Keep up to date with evolving tools and tech, continuously enhancing your skill set.
Support and ensure HRIS is compliant with data privacy laws and regulations.
Assist in implementing and monitoring security protocols to protect sensitive HR data.
Proficient in developing full-stack web applications, including working with NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and foundational debugging skills.
Comprehend fundamental arithmetic – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Provide input in the development and determination of requirements for HR applications.
Convey ideas and facts in writing using language the reader will best understand.
Promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.
Diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.
Maintain confidentiality and meet commitments, being reliable, honest, and truthful.
