A leading renewable energy firm is seeking a ROC Operator in Cape Town to monitor wind turbine operations and provide data analysis and reports. Candidates must have a diploma in engineering, fluent English, and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include remote monitoring, failure analysis, and technical support for energy management systems. Knowledge in the electricity and power production industries is essential. The role requires compliance with HSE standards and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Education Degree: Diploma and above, Major in Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Fluency in English, preferably with a second language.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor WTG operation status and conduct data analysis.
  • Provide operation reports and improvement solutions.
  • Manage remote monitoring and failure notifications.
  • Compile monthly wind farm operation reports.
  • Provide technical support for equipment issues.
  • Report HSE incidents and participate in HSE activities.
