Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a BI / SQL Developer in Pretoria, Gauteng. This role involves designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, optimizing data warehouse architecture, and writing complex SQL queries. Candidates must have a relevant degree and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. The position offers a competitive remuneration package.
Qualifications

- Experience with data warehouse architecture management.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL for reporting and analytics.

Our client in the Retail industry is currently looking for a BI / SQL Developer, in Pretoria, Gauteng.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
- Manage and optimize data warehouse architecture to ensure scalability, high performance, and data integrity.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, reporting, and analytics tasks.
- Implement and monitor data integration solutions using Microsoft tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
- Ensure secure and efficient data storage and access within Microsoft Azure environments, leveraging services like Azure SQL Database and Azure Blob Storage.
- Collaborate with BI developers, analysts, and stakeholders to support data governance, quality assurance, and reporting initiatives.
Bachelors / Diploma. 3 years' experience as a BI / SQL Developer.
Up to R per month.
