Do you lead from the front, demand the best from your team, and hold yourself accountable for every metre of progress?
We are looking for a career‑orientated, delivery‑obsessed Site Agent — someone who knows how to run a site like a business, manage people and resources, and take full command of every aspect of project execution.
Project Delivery & Site Management : Take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of building and / or civil engineering construction sites. Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and project plans. Drive progress, control quality, and ensure that all site activities meet contractual and technical requirements. Lead daily site briefings and ensure that all teams understand priorities and deliverables. Team & Subcontractor Coordination : Manage and motivate site teams, subcontractors, Foremen, and suppliers. Allocate resources efficiently and anticipate project needs (labour, plant, and materials). Ensure that subcontractor performance aligns with contractual obligations and timelines. Programme & Progress Tracking : Monitor construction progress against project milestones. Identify risks, delays, or inefficiencies early — and implement corrective actions. Report on progress accurately to Project Managers and senior leadership, using clear metrics. Health, Safety & Compliance : Enforce compliance with OHS regulations, environmental requirements, and internal safety protocols. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks. Lead incident investigations and corrective action planning where required. Cost, Quality & Productivity Control : Work closely with Quantity Surveyors to manage site budgets, measure works, and track variations. Ensure that workmanship and materials meet the highest standards. Drive value engineering on‑site and eliminate waste across the project lifecycle. Stakeholder Engagement : Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, municipal authorities, and internal teams. Chair site meetings and provide professional updates on progress, challenges, and risks. Represent the company with authority, professionalism, and accountability.
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile) : Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent. 5–10 years' experience in a Site Agent or senior site management role. Proven track record in building and / or civil engineering projects (e.g. concrete structures, roads, pipelines, and commercial builds). Strong understanding of construction contracts (JBCC, FIDIC, etc.). High‑level proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project or similar), site documentation, and construction methodology. Valid driver's license and own reliable transport. Willingness to travel and commit to project‑based assignments across regions. Hands‑on, hard‑edged, and completely accountable. A natural leader who demands excellence from others — because that's what you give. Unflinching under pressure and always two steps ahead on‑site. Excellent at coordinating people, solving problems, and keeping your finger on the pulse. Committed to delivering projects you're proud to put your name on.
