Job description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group emotional support to learners.
  • Facilitate anger management and life skills programmes.
  • Mentor learners to encourage positive behaviour and self-confidence.
  • Support trauma-affected learners and refer to professional services when needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community organisations.
  • Prepare learner progress reports and updates.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12; Diploma / Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work, or Education preferred.
  • Experience working with youth in schools or community settings .
  • Knowledge of trauma counselling, anger management, and life skills.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and patience.
  • EE preferred
