Job summary
A leading creative agency in Gauteng is seeking a talented Senior Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual solutions and collaborating with various team members. Applicants should have extensive experience in design and a solid understanding of branding principles. This role offers a hybrid work model with part-time remote flexibility. Competitive candidates will be assessed through a skills-based case study.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar Senior or Lead Design role within an agency or creative studio environment.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.
- Excellent understanding of brand CI and visual communication principles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Strong conceptual and critical-thinking skills.
Responsibilities

- Work collaboratively with Account Managers, Lead Designers, and Senior Art Directors.

About the RoleWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Designer to join our creative team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality, on-brand creative solutions that meet client objectives and uphold design excellence across all touchpoints. This role requires a balance of creativity, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills.
- Produce creative, high-quality visual solutions that communicate clear client messages.
- Work collaboratively with Account Managers, Lead Designers, and Senior Art Directors.
- Ensure all design outputs align with brand CI and meet technical production requirements (print and digital).
- Assess briefs for clarity, feasibility, and completeness before commencing work.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting agreed deadlines and maintaining creative standards.
- Apply research and critical thinking to add value to each brief.
- Keep up to date with design programs, digital trends, and emerging creative tools.
- Support junior designers through mentoring and skills transfer.
- Follow studio systems, approval processes, and maintain accurate timesheets.
- Proven experience in a similar Senior or Lead Design role within an agency or creative studio environment.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.
- Excellent understanding of brand CI and visual communication principles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Strong conceptual and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
