What you will be doing:

  1. Proactively identify and target potential small business clients.
  2. Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority.
  3. Deliver tailored sales presentations and live demonstrations of our cybersecurity solutions.
  4. Clearly articulate the value proposition and ROI of our subscription packages.
  5. Explain pricing tiers and service levels, helping clients choose the best package.
  6. Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients based on trust and transparency.
  7. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
  8. Maintain regular contact with clients to stay informed about their evolving needs.
  9. Employ effective sales closing techniques to secure deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
  10. Negotiate contracts and pricing terms while ensuring profitability.
  11. Accurately forecast sales and manage the sales pipeline.
  12. Proactively follow up with clients after the sale to ensure satisfaction.
  13. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  14. Seek feedback from clients to enhance the overall customer experience.
  15. Implement strategies to maximize client retention and minimize churn.

What our client is looking for:

  1. Proven sales success, ideally in the technology or cybersecurity industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  2. Ability to build strong client relationships, understand their needs, and effectively articulate the value of cybersecurity solutions.
  3. Proficiency in sales methodologies, including prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing.
  4. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and proactively seek new sales opportunities.
  5. Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple sales pipelines, and work efficiently under pressure.
  6. Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and solutions.
  7. Familiarity with relevant technologies and platforms, and the ability to communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  8. Ability to identify and address client challenges with creative and effective cybersecurity solutions.
  9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  10. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
  11. Genuine interest in cybersecurity and a commitment to staying current on industry trends and emerging threats.

Compensation:

  1. This is a commission-only position. You will earn around R5,000 for each new client you sign up, payable after the client has honored their first three months of subscription payments.
