A well-established business is seeking to appoint a Credit Manager responsible for managing and making decisions on credit assessment processes. The role involves making recommendations on granting credit for all applications received from Corporate Banking and Structured Investments, for final approval of new and existing facilities.

1. A relevant 3-4 year qualification in Commerce, Agricultural Economics, or an Accounting degree.
2. Honors in Agriculture Economics or Economics.
3. Honors degree in Accounting/Commerce.
4. 5-8 years of credit granting experience in corporate banking and structured investments.
5. Exposure to credit granting in Corporate Banking / Structured Investments and Agribusiness sectors.

1. Microsoft Office and risk management principles.
2. Knowledge and experience with compliance systems, tools, and legislation.
3. Understanding of business and credit principles.
4. Knowledge of primary and secondary agriculture sector finance.
5. Ability to appraise credit proposals for business/corporate lending and deal structuring.

1. Knowledge of PFMA.
2. Understanding of Corporate Governance and the Business Environment.
3. Project management principles.
4. Knowledge of legislation governing lending institutions.
5. Development finance and equity funding structures/instruments.
