Helping our school moments run beautifully, calmly, and with care!

St Cyprian’s School is seeking a highly organised, people-centred Function & Event Facilitator to support the planning and smooth delivery of our vibrant school events calendar.

This role sits at the heart of school life — supporting assemblies, concerts, prize-givings, sporting and cultural events, parent functions, fundraisers, and staff gatherings. It is ideal for someone who loves logistics and people, thrives behind the scenes, and takes quiet pride in making things run seamlessly.

If you’re the kind of person who notices what others miss, keeps calm when plans change, and enjoys turning ideas into well-run experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For
  • A minimum of 5 years\' experience coordinating events (school, community, hospitality, or similar environments)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, confident communication and the ability to work with a wide range of people
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • A calm, solutions-focused attitude — especially when plans shift

A qualification in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field would be advantageous.

Why Join St Cyprian’s?

St Cyprian’s is a warm, values-driven school with a strong sense of community and tradition. Our events matter — they bring people together, celebrate achievement, and create shared memories. This role plays a meaningful part in shaping those experiences.

  • Coordinating the logistics and operational details of school events from planning through to pack-up
  • Working closely with staff, facilities, kitchen services, and external suppliers to ensure events are well prepared
  • Managing venues, equipment, timelines, and bookings
  • Being a calm, professional presence during events, ensuring things flow smoothly on the day
  • Handling event administration such as documentation, contracts, and basic cost tracking
  • Gathering feedback and reflecting on how events can be improved over time

This is a practical, hands-on role requiring flexibility, initiative, and a collaborative mindset within a busy school environment.
