SUMMARY:

HOTEL RECEIVING CLERK(JHB)

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage
• Verify items received against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Ensure accurate capturing of received stock on the system
• Coordinate with procurement for any discrepancies
• Maintain clean and organized receiving areas
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts when required
• Liaise with suppliers and delivery personnel professionally
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
  
  

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a receiving
• Knowledge of stock control procedures and basic inventory systems
• Computer literate (experience with stock software advantageous)
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
