Job summary

wine.co.za is seeking a Sales Consultant based in the Western Cape to develop and grow business within the wine industry. The role requires a dynamic, self-motivated professional with strong relationship-building and sales skills.

The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager in the Western Cape and the General Manager in Johannesburg, with occasional travel to Johannesburg for meetings and training.

Qualifications

• External sales or customer service experience is required.
• 2–5 years in sales, marketing or customer service is essential.
• Experience in wine/beverage industries is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel and own transport are required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within the wine industry sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Grow current business with existing customers and obtain new prospects.
• Provide reporting and market information to management.
• Support technical aspects during lab-scale tests and production trials.
