Placements24 is seeking a Junior Sales Representative for a prestigious Stellenbosch winery. This field-based role focuses on promoting a portfolio of premium wines, building strong client relationships with restaurants, hotels, and retailers, and driving sales growth in the Western Cape.

You will conduct tastings, pursue new business opportunities, and collaborate with marketing on promotions, with target-driven monthly and quarterly goals.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Passion for wine and beverage industry.
• Ability to meet sales targets (demonstrable through projects or roles).
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients such as restaurants, hotels, and retailers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
• Conduct product tastings and presentations to potential clients.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Provide excellent customer service and promptly address inquiries.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities and product knowledge.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions and events.
• Manage sales territories, including order processing and delivery coordination.
• Represent the winery professionally at industry events and trade shows.
