About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and organized Warehouse Receiver & Dispatch Clerk to manage the inbound and outbound flow of goods at their facility in Benoni, Gauteng . This role is fundamental to ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely dispatch of orders. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments. You will be an integral part of maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong administrative skills, and is comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders or delivery notes, and inspect for damage.
• Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging for collection.
• Coordinate with transport providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving and dispatch area.
• Conduct regular checks of inventory levels in the dispatch area.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales) regarding inbound and outbound shipments.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor in Benoni, Gauteng .

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Receiver, Dispatch Clerk, or in a similar warehouse administrative role.
