Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their Mossel Bay facility in the Western Cape. You will oversee Receiving and Dispatch, lead a dedicated team, ensure accurate inventory records, and drive safety and efficiency across daily operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse operations with supervisory experience, strong WMS knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication skills. Western Cape logistics experience is beneficial and a competitive salary is offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the receiving and dispatch teams.
• Ensure timely and accurate unloading of incoming shipments and loading of outgoing shipments.
• Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
• Manage the efficient flow of goods from receiving to put-away and from storage to dispatch.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety regulations within the receiving and dispatch areas.
• Monitor team performance, provide training and conduct performance reviews.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization in the receiving and dispatch zones.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by ensuring all received and dispatched items are properly recorded in the WMS.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
