About the Role Our client, a dynamic organization within the Logistics & Warehousing sector, is looking for a diligent and efficient Warehouse Dispatch Clerk to join their operations in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, ZA . This role is critical for ensuring that all outbound shipments are accurately prepared, documented, and dispatched on time. You will be responsible for coordinating with the shipping team, verifying outgoing orders against documentation, and maintaining organized records. As an on-site position, your consistent presence at our Nelspruit facility is essential to manage the outgoing flow of goods effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify outgoing orders against shipping manifests and sales orders to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations where applicable.
• Coordinate with transportation carriers to schedule pickups and ensure timely departure of shipments.
• Inspect outgoing goods for proper packaging, labeling, and condition before dispatch.
• Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with dispatch details, tracking information, and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain organized records of all dispatched shipments for audit and tracking purposes.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and carriers to resolve any dispatch-related issues.
• Ensure the dispatch area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed to facilitate smooth dispatch operations.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and dispatch.

Requirements

• Previous experience (1-2 years) in a warehouse, logistics, or shipping environment, preferably in a dispatch role.
• Familiarity with shipping processes, documentation, and basic inventory control principles.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 20kg, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a team-player attitude.
• Knowledge of local transport regulations is a plus.
• Experience in the Mpumalanga region is an advantage.
