Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics qualification is a plus.
• 2–3 years in warehouse receiving, dispatch or similar logistics role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving and dispatch operations at docks.
• Record incoming inventory, verify quantities and quality against PO.
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Organize outgoing shipments with accurate order picking and packing.
• Coordinate with transport providers for inbound/outbound schedules.
• Maintain inventory records using the WMS.
• Ensure warehouse activities meet health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and reconcile shipping documents and related paperwork.
• Communicate with internal teams, drivers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the receiving and dispatch docks.
• Accurately record incoming inventory, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Organize and stage outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order picking and packing.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule inbound deliveries and outbound dispatches.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Ensure all warehouse activities adhere to strict health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and reconcile shipping documents, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments, drivers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse receiving, dispatch, or a similar logistics role.
• Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a demanding environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
