Key Responsibilities

Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for technical roles, including software developers, engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity analysts, and IT support specialists. Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract niche technical talent, utilizing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and niche job boards. Build and nurture strong relationships with IT professionals, understanding their career goals and technical expertise. Partner closely with hiring managers and clients to understand their technical requirements and company culture. Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting and candidate engagement to offer negotiation and onboarding support. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technical recruitment. Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of candidates and track recruitment progress using our CRM system. Provide a high-touch candidate experience, ensuring clear communication and timely feedback throughout the hiring process. Contribute to the employer branding efforts of our client by showcasing the exciting technical opportunities available. Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in sourcing technical talent.

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in technical recruitment, either agency-side or in-house. Proven ability to source and recruit for a wide range of technical positions, including complex and niche roles. In-depth knowledge of various IT domains, programming languages, software development methodologies, and cloud technologies. Experience using advanced sourcing tools and techniques to identify passive technical candidates. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting. A proactive and results-oriented approach to recruitment. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with the South African tech talent market is advantageous.
