About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding recruitment consultancy, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Technical Recruiter to join their innovative team. This position is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and placing top-tier technical talent across a broad spectrum of industries, with a particular focus on IT, engineering, and digital sectors. This role demands a proactive approach to sourcing and a deep understanding of technical skill sets to effectively match candidates with our clients' challenging requirements. As a remote-first professional, you will leverage digital tools and communication platforms to excel.

Key Responsibilities

Source and attract qualified technical candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and direct outreach. Conduct in-depth technical screenings and interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit. Collaborate closely with hiring managers and clients to understand their technical staffing needs and define job requirements. Manage the entire recruitment process from candidate application to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active technical candidates. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, tools, and methodologies to effectively recruit in niche technical fields. Utilize recruitment CRM and ATS systems to track candidate progress and manage data effectively. Provide regular updates and feedback to clients and internal stakeholders on recruitment progress.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter or similar role, with a strong understanding of IT and engineering domains. Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring for technical positions such as software developers, data scientists, network engineers, and cloud architects. Excellent knowledge of technical skill sets and industry-standard tools. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment. A proactive and results-driven approach to talent acquisition. Relevant degree or professional qualification in IT, Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field is highly desirable.
