Placements24 is seeking a Senior IT Recruiter to join their fully remote team. You will own the full lifecycle of IT placements, sourcing top engineers, data scientists, and cybersecurity experts for global clients.

In this remote-first role, you will leverage your network, advanced tools, and ATS experience to build strong candidate pipelines, advise hiring managers, and drive recruitment success from your location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT recruitment experience, with senior/niche roles.
• Proven ability to source, engage and place candidates.
• Knowledge of IT domains, programming languages, cloud and cyber.
• Proficiency with advanced sourcing tools and techniques.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of IT talent market and comp trends.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, able to juggle remote priorities.
• ATS experience is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable.
• Experience recruiting within the SA tech market is a plus.

• Conduct in-depth interviews and technical assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, IT industry trends, and best practices in technical recruitment.
• Maintain meticulous records of candidate data, search progress, and client interactions within the company's CRM system.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT recruitment, with a significant portion focused on senior and niche technical roles.
• Proven success in sourcing, engaging, and placing candidates for challenging technical positions.
• In-depth knowledge of various IT domains, programming languages, software development methodologies, cloud computing, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Exceptional proficiency with advanced sourcing tools and techniques.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong understanding of the talent market and compensation trends for IT professionals.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Experience recruiting within or for the South African tech market is a significant advantage.
