Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Field Sales Representative to cover Soweto, Gauteng, promoting FMCG product lines and driving on-the-ground sales with retail customers. You will build relationships with store owners and staff, ensure product visibility, and meet sales targets in a dynamic retail environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in FMCG sales, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of Soweto's retail landscape.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a sales or marketing qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within FMCG or retail.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and build customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of the Soweto, Gauteng retail landscape.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A valid driver's license and access to reliable transport.
• Must reside in or be willing to travel extensively within Soweto, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell FMCG products to retail customers within the assigned territory.
