Job summary

Bidvest Prestige is seeking an organised and reliable Administrator to provide operational and administrative support within the department. The role demands accuracy, compliance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

You will maintain records, manage documents and assist with process monitoring to ensure tasks are completed on time and in line with company policies and service standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or operational role.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's licence and/or own reliable transport, where required for the position.

  • Provide effective administrative and operational support within the department.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all relevant documentation and records.
  • Coordinate and follow up on outstanding information, documentation and processes.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers and databases as required.
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of departmental processes and procedures.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, employees and/or service providers where required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Identify and escalating discrepancies, delays or operational challenges to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on outstanding tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably required in support of the department and business objectives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective operational and administrative support within the relevant function. The role requires an individual who is organised, reliable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high standards of service, accuracy and compliance. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and ensure that all assigned responsibilities are completed efficiently and within required timeframes.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or operational role.
  • Relevant experience aligned to the key responsibilities of the position.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information professionally.
  • Valid driver's licence and/or own reliable transport, where required for the position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A relevant National Diploma, Diploma or Degree in the applicable field.
  • Relevant professional certification or additional industry-specific training.
  • Additional training in administration, operations, compliance or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience within a corporate, facilities, property, services or similar environment would be advantageous.
