Job summary

The Kelston Motor Group is seeking a Service Advisor for the Kelston Changan East London branch. The role requires at least 2 years in the motor industry, a valid driver’s license, and solid knowledge of vehicle legislation and trade practices.

You will book in service, monitor progress, manage workshop carry-overs, and ensure customer satisfaction while handling related administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 educational attainment.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the motor industry as a Service Advisor.
• Knowledge of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation, and trade practices.
• Good computer skills with basic diagnostic understanding.
• Some technical and mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Book in the vehicle brought in for service or repair.
• Monitor the progress of the work being done.
• Monitor ‘carry overs’ in the Workshop.
• Hand back vehicle to customer after the service or repair.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
