TalentEdge Recruitment & Advisory in Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa, seeks a customer-focused Service Advisor with strong dealership experience to guide customers from booking to vehicle handover.

You will welcome customers, assess service needs, promote labour and parts, prepare quotations, coordinate workshop bookings, and maintain clear, proactive communication to ensure satisfaction and adherence to dealership standards.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 required.
• Minimum 5 years’ Service Advisor experience in a motor dealership.
• At least 3 years’ customer-facing retail experience.
• Computer literate with business system knowledge.
• Product knowledge is advantageous.
• Target-driven and customer-focused.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assess their service needs.
• Promote labour, parts, accessories and value-added service opportunities.
• Document required service, repair instructions, labour estimates and parts requirements.
• Provide accurate quotations and clarify customers payment responsibilities.
• Maintain regular customer communication throughout the service process.
• Coordinate service bookings, appointment schedules and customer follow-ups.
• Liaise with workshop team to ensure quality workmanship and minimal comebacks.
• Support customer mobility arrangements where required.
• Ensure customer concerns are correctly captured and resolved effectively.
• Complete service administration accurately and maintain updated customer files.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction, service targets and dealership standards.
