Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L3) to lead high‑complexity network incidents, security initiatives and proactive problem resolution. You will work across LAN/WLAN environments, design secure enterprise networks, and mentor junior staff while contributing to automation and process improvements.

The role requires Cisco/Aruba/Meraki expertise, ISE, WLC, and strong incident handling.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree or relevant qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
• Must have the ability to build secure networks for enterprise applications, maintain security configuration and troubleshoot problems related to network configuration.
• Experience with network security and incident response preferred.

• Fortinet NSE5/6/7 or ENSDWI advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead in providing exceptional managed services to clients.
• Identify and resolve technical incidents and problems, meeting SLA conditions.
• Manage high-complexity tickets with thorough analyses and resolutions.
• Coach and mentor junior team members; create knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with automation teams to reduce manual efforts.
• Ensure infrastructure is configured, installed, tested and operational.
• Monitor alerts and perform timely checks using monitoring tools.
• Log and escalate problems, conduct third-line support investigations.
• Provide onsite technical support and field engineering services.
• Engage with vendors for issue escalation and feedback to clients.
• Drive operational improvements and automation opportunities.
• Possibly manage projects and deliver disaster recovery tests.
