Placements24 seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer for a fully remote role. You will lead planning, design, and optimization of water supply, distribution, treatment, and stormwater projects across regions, applying hydrological expertise to deliver resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a Water Resources specialization.
• PE license or chartered status is highly desirable.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in water resources engineering.
• Proficient with hydrological/hydraulic modelling software (HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM, InfoWorks).
• Strong communication for remote collaboration and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and implementation of water resource projects including supply, distribution, treatment, and stormwater management.
• Model hydrology and hydraulics using industry-standard software (HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM).
• Develop technical reports, feasibility studies, design documents, and environmental impact assessments.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a remote setting.
• Provide expert technical advice and support to clients and project teams.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation for water resource assessments.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and client presentations.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in water resources engineering.
